Traceless integrates directly with Jira Service Cloud, allowing your team to securely manage sensitive data and verify identiies seamlessly inside Jira tickets. This article walks you through installing the Traceless app with your Jira Installation.
Prerequisites
You must be a Jira administrator to install apps.
Make sure you have access to your organization’s Jira Service Cloud account.
Enable Development Mode in Jira (instructions below) to upload a custom app.
Traceless Login Steps
Log in to Traceless and go to Integrations
Click on the Jira logo.
This will redirect you to the Jira login portal.
Log in to Jira and you will be redirected to the Oauth Traceless permissions page.
Grant permissions and you will then be redirected back to Traceless.
Finally you will recieve an email with your Traceless app installion url to be pasted into Jira.
Jira Installation Steps
Copy the App URL you recieved from Traceless after allowing permissions.

Log in to Jira
Go to your Jira Service Cloud page and sign in as an administrator.Navigate to Apps
In the left-hand sidebar, click Apps.
In the top-right corner, click the … menu and select Manage your apps.
Alternatively, you can go directly to Manage your apps from your Jira settings.
Enable Development Mode
Scroll to the bottom left of the screen.
Click Settings.
Enable the Development mode toggle.
This allows uploading custom apps from external URLs.
Upload the Traceless App
Click Upload app.
Paste the copied Traceless app URL into the input field.
Click Upload to start the installation.
Complete Installation
Once uploaded, Jira will confirm that Traceless is installed. The integration is now ready to use within your Jira environment.
Troubleshooting
If you can't see the Traceless UI in Jira, you may need to click on the ... menu in the upper right hand corner of your service ticket UI.
